What you walk away with

By week 16 you can build and ship this yourself

Twelve finished games. Not twelve half-built tutorials you abandoned in week three.

Write real game logic

Program player movement, enemy AI, health systems and UI logic in GDScript, a language close to Python.

Implement game physics

Use Godot's physics engine for gravity, collisions, bouncing, joints and complex character controllers.

Design and polish

Add particle systems, animations, screen shake and sound effects: the "juice" that makes a game feel good to play.

Publish your games

Export to Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, Android and the web, then share a link anyone can click and play.

Why YouBee.ai

Why this actually turns players into developers

01

A 12-game portfolio

You don't watch tutorials. You finish twelve distinct games across genres, which is the only thing that proves you can do it.

02

Godot Engine

Free, open source, lightweight and the fastest-growing engine in the indie scene. No licence fees, no revenue cut.

03

Zero to coder

No programming experience needed. The first two weeks teach you GDScript, a language very close to Python, from the ground up.

04

2D and 3D

Master pixel-perfect 2D mechanics first, then move into a fully functional 3D first-person shooter in week 15.

Who this is for

Built for people who want a job, not a certificate

Most common

Gamers

Turn the thousands of hours you have spent playing into the skill of actually building what you play.

This is you
Very common

Aspiring indie devs

Learn the full lifecycle of a game (design, build, polish, export, publish) and leave with a playable portfolio.

This is you
Common

Programming novices

Game development is the most visual and most fun way to learn to code, because you see every line you write come alive.

This is you
Never written code before? That is the normal starting point here. Weeks 1 and 2 are dedicated entirely to teaching you programming from scratch with GDScript.
FAQ

Questions people ask before applying

Absolutely not. The first two weeks are dedicated entirely to teaching you programming from scratch using GDScript, which is very close to Python. Most students arrive having never written a line of code.

Yes. The games in the curriculum section are the ones you build in the program, and most run directly in your browser, so just tap "Play it now". A few of the heavier ones need a keyboard, so they are marked as desktop-only.

Godot is free, lightweight, genuinely beginner-friendly, and has a dedicated 2D engine alongside strong 3D capabilities. It is the fastest-growing engine in the indie community, and the concepts you learn transfer directly to other engines.

Yes. By building 12 different genres (platformers, shooters, puzzles, tower defence, 3D FPS) you learn how to mix and adapt mechanics, which is exactly what original game design is.

Godot is remarkably light. Any reasonably modern laptop running Windows, Mac or Linux will handle the whole program, including the 3D sections. You do not need a gaming PC.

Yes. Week 6 is built around mobile touch controls and screen coordinates, and week 16 covers exporting to iOS and Android along with web and desktop.

Yes. The program is designed around busy schedules. You get weekly recordings and step-by-step guides and move at your own pace during the week, with live Q&A sessions when you need help.

Yes. You can request a full refund within the first week after the cohort start date.

Yes. You receive a YouBee.ai certificate after completing the program and submitting your final game project.
